On November 5-9, 2021, the International Youth Forum “European Youth for Peace” was held in Baku (Azerbaijan).
Young European leaders of influential youth organizations from 21 countries took part in the Forum.
The Forum was held with the support of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AGF), organized by the Azerbaijan Democratic Student and Youth Organization (ADSAYO) and in partnership with the National Council of Youth Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (NAYORA).
Within the framework of the Forum, the Baku Congress Center hosted the plenary opening of the IYF “European Youth for Peace”, which was attended by 120 people, including government officials, deputies, representatives of the diplomatic corps and leaders of national NGOs and the media.
After the official part, the Forum continued with a panel discussion on the topic “The role of youth and youth organizations in achieving peace in Europe”.
7th-8th we visit the completely destroyed city of Aghdam and the liberated territories of Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as the second largest city of Azerbaijan – Ganja.
As a result of the Forum, the Declaration was adopted on behalf of the International Youth Forum “European Youth for Peace” and the platform “European Youth Network for Sustainable Peace” was also created for cooperation and partnership for lasting peace between youth and youth organizations.
